Suhao has been working in graphene and advanced Nanomaterials since 2013, with extensive experience translating graphene technologies from research into industrial applications. He holds a PhD in Materials Science from the National Graphene Institute at the University of Manchester, where his research focused on graphene-enhanced elastomer composites. He has a strong track record of developing graphene-enabled technologies across thermoplastics, thermoset resins and composites, elastomers, coatings, conductive materials, lubricants, and other advanced material platforms, enabling applications across automotive, defense, and aerospace, energy, advanced manufacturing, packaging, construction, and consumer markets. 

Suhao joined HydroGraph in 2024 as Laboratory Director, leading the Company’s application R&D activities at the Graphene Engineering and Innovation Centre (GEIC), as Chief Technology Officer, he leads HydroGraph’s global technology strategy, product innovation, intellectual property, and technology scale-up initiatives, spanning the development of next-generation graphene materials, application-driven technology platforms, and scalable solutions that translate scientific innovation into commercial value. He leads cross-functional collaboration with commercial and operations teams to align technology development with market needs, accelerate commercialization, and strengthen HydroGraph’s long-term competitive position.
